The Compliance Verification process involves validating the following aspects:
- Your personal identity
- Your residential address, even if it's located in a foreign country.
- The completion of USPS Form 1583, where you grant MX Global Center the authority to manage your mail as a Commercial Mail Agent.
For those managing mail and recipients authorized to receive it, the verification process entails presenting two forms of identification. However, renters of postal addresses only need to sign one Form 1583.
To successfully complete the Compliance Verification process, ensure you have the following ready:
- At least one valid government-issued photo identification document (original, not a copy), which should not be expired.
- A second document serving as proof of your current residential address (not your virtual address). A recent document, preferably a utility bill or similar, is recommended.
MX Global will utilize the application to authenticate your IDs. To do so, you'll need a computer or mobile device equipped with a camera.
Here are the steps you should follow to accomplish the Compliance Verification Process. To initiate the process, select "Finish Compliance" within your Virtual Mailbox application.
You are obligated to provide two forms of identification: one government-issued ID and another demonstrating your present home address. Choose "Verify ID."
You have two options for validating your IDs: Using Stripe (option "Verify ID with Stripe") and Uploading Documents (option "Verify ID").
Using Stripe: This option, "Verify ID with Stripe," allows you to confirm your identity via your phone or webcam. By following the instructions, you will need to display your ID to the camera.
Opting for "Verify ID" will require you to upload documents. MX Global Center will then review and authenticate these documents. You must select the document type for uploading.
And then to upload the file and submit it for verification.
Upon submission, an analyst from MX Global Center will examine, validate, and approve the uploaded documents. If any issues arise with the documents, you will receive notification detailing the necessary corrections.
The final stage of the Compliance Validation process entails completing and signing Form 1583. This step is straightforward, as the application will automatically populate the form for your review.
Lastly, affix your signature (e-signature).
By following these steps, the compliance process concludes. This signifies that you have officially granted MX Global Center the authorization to receive, open, and manage your mail in accordance with your provided instructions.
